RusNews journalist Maria Ponomarenko, arrested in the «military fakes» case, said in a letter that she had been injected with an unknown drug in a mental hospital. The injections were given to her after she demanded her personal clothes, utensils, and pads. When Ponomarenko resisted, she was restrained by officers of the Federal Penitentiary Service. On July 2, she was placed in the Altai Krai Clinical Psychiatric Hospital.
