Journalist Makhambet Abzhan, suspected of extorting a large amount of money, was detained on July 3. On July 5, a court arrested him for two months. A short time later, some media outlets and public pages started describing his alleged confession of guilt in great detail. In doing so, they have spared no expense in discrediting the person. The media outlet PRIME TIME, a news company created in February of this year, and the Telegram channel Nursultan Nightingale are particularly eager to do it.
