In June, the editorial office of Ulysmedia.kz received a notice from Roskomnadzor regarding the inclusion of information in the «Unified registry of domain names, indexes of website pages on the Internet and network addresses allowing to identify websites on the Internet containing information the distribution of which is prohibited in the Russian Federation by a court decision». Roskomnadzor has demanded that the media remove the prohibited information, and in case of refusal warned of restricted access on the territory of Russia. This was reported by Samal Ibrayeva, head of the news and analysis website Ulysmedia.kz, in comments to the Exclusive.kz editorial post about the inclusion of the website in the list of banned media in Russia.
