The security forces detained TUT.BY freelance photographer Yauhen Yerchak. The «penitential» video of the journalist and photos from the search of his apartment were shown in the pro-governmental Telegram channels. In the video shot by law enforcement officers, Yauhen said that he worked as a freelance photographer for TUT.BY and that in 2020 he «took part in protest rallies and covered them, was subscribed to extremist Telegram channels». The law enforcers also reported that they obtained access to the photo and video archives of the journalist.
