In Karelia, a magistrate's court dismissed an administrative case for violation of electoral legislation, which the police had initiated against the Communist Party of the Russian Federation newspaper Leninskaya Pravda. The judge agreed that the newspaper informed its readers about the activities of the party and not about the work of the Communist candidate for the position of the head of Karelia. The complaint against Leninskaya Pravda was filed by CPRF competitors.
