On September 5, the administrative court in Aktobe found Nur.kz correspondent Ardak Yerubayeva guilty of disobedience to a police officer. The journalist was given a warning. Administrative proceedings were initiated in connection with the incident that occurred on August 31, when Yerubayeva attempted to take pictures of the prime minister’s motorcade. On September 22, 2022, the court of appeal canceled the ruling of the administrative court for lack of administrative offence in the actions of the journalist.
