On September 15, while covering a protest organized by the radical opposition in downtown Yerevan, Artur Hayrapetyan, the correspondent of the news website 24lurer.am, was physically assaulted. The police snatched his phone out of his hands, deleted the video he had shot, and began beating the journalist, after which they left, leaving him without assistance. It is worth mentioning that when the police approached him, Artur Hayrapetyan introduced himself, showing his editorial ID.
