On the eve of the Popular Front Party protest action, police officers began detaining activists in the morning. In particular, they detained Deputy Chairman of the Popular Front Party Seymur Hazi, members of the presidium and other governing bodies of the party: Rovshan Safarli, Bakhtiyar Imanov, Faig Nagiyev, and Mushfig Imamguliyev. The Ministry of Internal Affairs refrained from comment and said that information would be provided later. Also, reporter Anar Abdulla was detained and later released.
