Science journalist Asya Kazantseva was detained because of the CCTV cameras at the Pionerskaya metro station in Moscow. She was held in the police station for three hours. First, Kazantseva was told that she was being detained as a conscript, and then that it was because of «referendums» in the occupied part of Ukraine. Kazantseva said in her explanatory statement that she was detained on February 24 and subsequently fined for participating in an anti-war rally, and that she was detained in the metro on June 12. According to Kazantseva, police officers did not understand why they had detained her.
