Yekaterina Parfenova, the journalist of Sota, was detained in Arkhangelsk. The police officer first stated that the girl was being taken away under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (disobedience to police officers), and later said that he had to «check the press card at special services». Sota’s correspondent was detained before the action began. According to the media itself, the police ripped off the press card and tore her vest. She was taken to the police station. Later, Yekaterina Parfenova was released from the police department on a pledge to appear.
