On December 28, 2022, the judge of the Feodosiya City Court Natalya Kulinskaya gave the verdict in the criminal case against civil journalist Irina Danilovich, who was kidnapped by the Federal Security Service and subsequently accused of possession of an improvised explosive device. The court found Irina Danilovich guilty of committing a crime under Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, sending or carrying of explosives or explosive devices) and sentenced her to 7 years imprisonment in a general regime penal colony and ordered her to pay a fine of RUB 50,000. The court spent 17 hours in the deliberation room, of which only 2 hours were court working hours.
