On December 18, Shahida Salomova, the administrator of the Telegram channel «Patanatomy of the country Uz», was detained. She was searched and her equipment was confiscated. After the detention of Shahida, her Telegram channel was deleted. Salomova was charged in a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 139 (defamation in printed form, including posted on the Internet) and Part 2 of Article 140 (insult in printed form, including posted on the Internet) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. The blogger was detained after a complaint from a certain citizen A. G. (presumably the 52-year-old blogger Alexey Garshin) with the Investigative Department of the Main Department of Internal Affairs, in which he asked to take legal action against Salomova, who, he claimed, had insulted and libeled him in social networks. On December 13, Shahida posted a video on her YouTube channel «Shahina Salomova» in which Alexey Garshin talks about his cooperation with the Uzbek secret service.
