A court in Arkhangelsk fined Sota journalist Alexander Peskov RUB 30,00 under an article on «discrediting» the army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation) for two publications on VKontakte dedicated to the destruction of the Malaysian Boeing over Eastern Ukraine and the return of the Russian soldiers to Arkhangelsk from Ukraine. This is the second case against Peskov for «discrediting» the army; the first was dismissed by the court. Peskov emigrated from Russia in late March after he was searched and a criminal case was opened against him for insulting a government official (Article 319 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation); he is on the federal wanted list.
