The journalist of the April TV channel reported that unknown persons gained access to her e-mail account, which they tried to use to register Yandex ID (a unified account for Yandex), mobile applications, and websites that support its authorization. «I do not use Yandex, and I certainly did not register anything there,» says Kuleshova. The journalist’s fears are due to the fact that shortly before, there were attempts to hack her Facebook and Telegram accounts. Cyberattacks on Kuleshova’s accounts took place with the attempts to hack into the e-mail accounts of the Kaktus.media and Kloop.kg journalists. Journalists of these media reported that they detected the cyberattack attempts on February 8, the day before protests in front of the offices of independent media calling for their shutdown.
