On February 18, 2022, blogger Adyl Akzhol uulu posted material about Shailoobek Atazov, a candidate for the Sverdlovsk single-mandate constituency № 29 in Bishkek, on his YouTube channel, where he spoke about the candidate and representatives of his office. After the material was published, the candidate complained to the Central Election Commission against the blogger, stating that the publication was false and «directly discredited [his] honor, dignity, and business reputation». He demanded to hold the blogger accountable and post a refutation. The members of the Commission decided to fine the blogger and issued an order for him to publish a refutation.
