Documentary filmmaker and journalist Sergey Yerzhenkov told Khodorkovsky Live channel’s Vozdukh program that he had been tortured by law enforcement officials following his detention in Kasimov, Ryazan Region, in early March. At the police station, he was subjected to «swallow» and «stretch» torture. He said he was detained on March 5, the day after an anti-war action in Kasimov, where several activists wrote the phrase «Putin, go away» on the Lenin monument. Yerzhenkov says he filmed the action. Yerzhenkov is a suspect in a criminal case on vandalism, which was initiated because of the action in Kasimov. The criminal case became known on April 12 when it was reported by several pro-Kremlin media outlets.
