On February 24, journalist Darya Kucherenko went on an individual picket in protest and was detained by police. In the following days, she continued to cover anti-war actions in the Ufa-based media Kommersant-Ufa, until increased pressure on the editorial board by the authorities and law enforcement officers forced Kucherenko to resign.
