On April 19, Darya Kucherenko was fined RUB 30,000 by the Sovetsky District Court of Ufa for holding an individual anti-war picket. Kucherenko went to the picket on April 11 as an activist, holding a poster with the inscription: «War is rape and murder of Ukrainian women and Ukrainians. War is poverty and repression in Russia». She was detained by the police, who drew up a report on Kucherenko under Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation. The court of the first instance found Kucherenko guilty; the journalist is appealing this decision.
