Since the first days of the invasion, photojournalist Ihor Hudenko covered the events that took place in Kharkiv. On February 26, Hudenko went to the Kharkiv Circle Road to film the military events. On that day, there was very heavy shelling of the city. Since then, there has been no information about the journalist's fate and whereabouts. The Kharkiv regional organization, the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, filed a disappearance report with the law enforcement authorities. Later, it became known that Hudenko died while filming on Natalia Uzhviy street in Kharkiv. Hudenko was buried on April 9.
