The security officers searched the home of investigative journalist Siarhei Satsuk, during which the cell phones and laptops were seized. After the search, Siarhei was taken for questioning to the Investigative Committee in a long-standing criminal case on suspicion of bribery. He was taken into custody and placed in the detention center №1 in Minsk. Previously, Siarhei Satsuk had repeatedly received death threats and «advice» to stop investigations from the Ministry of Information and Ministry of Health officials. On the same day, the Ejednevnik website became inaccessible to users from Belarus and abroad. «I received a notification from Google that all my passwords related to ej.by had been compromised. I suspect that the servers were seized», – says Aliaksandr Satsuk, editor-in-chief of the website.
