At the Spartak Stadium, after the match with Leicester, Shchyogolev was attacked by the former head of the Spartak fan club Valentin Korshunov, whom the journalist tried to film. Korshunov was arrested on Part 3 of Article 144 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for obstructing journalist's work and then released on bail.
