Yauhen Merkis disappeared in the first half of the day and was unavailable for more than five hours. Later, it became known that the police detained him: he was taken to the police department and released after a preventive talk. The closed trial on the «Tsikhanouski case» took place in Gomel. The reporter of Narodnaya Volya Anatol Hatouchyts was also detained and fined. According to journalists, they were detained to prevent them from meeting with relatives of political prisoners.
