Zlata Udovichenko, the correspondent of the newspaper Vremya in the West Kazakhstan region, was demanded to appear in the department of sanitary and epidemiological control of the Baiterek district of Uralsk. The reason for the summons was a statement written in relation to a journalist by one of the local residents, who accused Zlata Udovichenko of gathering people for a meeting under quarantine conditions. In addition, according to the employee of the sanitary and epidemiological inspection, the journalist also received documents from the police on the same subject. Udovichenko told her that she had not gathered anyone on her own initiative. The employee of the sanitary and epidemiological service offered to come to the department and write an explanation.
