The owner of the TV channel Channel One Eurasia — TV Channel Eurasia+ORT LLP — was involved in the trial as a third party, not declaring claims on the subject of the dispute, on the side of the defendant in the lawsuit for the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation of Kabulova to the former teacher of school № 17 of the Dikhanbaba village in the Saryagash district, Beysenbayev. The reason for the lawsuit was a story that aired on the TV channel in 2019 and Beisenbayev’s post on Facebook.
