Hrodna Regional Court sentenced Russian citizen Sofia Sapega to six years of jail. She was accused of administering the Telegram channel Black Book of Belarus, which publishes the personal data of law enforcers. The trial was held behind closed doors and was heard by Judge Viktar Senko. The court found Sapega guilty of: premeditated actions aimed at inciting other social hatred or discord on the basis of a different social affiliation, committed by a group of people, which resulted in other grave consequences (Part 3 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus), of illegal collection and distribution of information about the private life (Part 1 of Article 179 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus). The court recovered compensation for moral damage in favor of the victims in the total amount of 167,500 rubles. On May 23, 2021, Sapega was detained together with Raman Pratasevich after the forced boarding of a Ryanair aircraft flying Athens-Vilnius in Minsk.
