Additional information:

Aizhan Auyelbekova, the journalist of the newspaper Vremya, did a report on the trade on the Arbat, located on the territory of the Ancient Taraz historical and ethnocultural complex. Some of the traders did not like it. After a verbal altercation, they tried to take away the journalist’s phone, began showering accusations on her, and then locked her up in one of the sales outlets. Aizhan was released only after she called the police and reported the attack and unlawful detention. «Due to the fact that the people who attacked me were filming me, accompanying their actions with false accusations and slander, as well as holding me by force (by closing the gate in front of the outlet), I called the police and filed a complaint. These people also made slanderous calls to the editorial office of the Vremya newspaper. Now these people are writing nasty things on social networks, which affects my honor and business reputation», — said Auyelbekova.
