Fizuli Mammadov, a businessman, president of the Inter Sever group of companies and president of the Union of Azerbaijanis of Russia, filed a lawsuit against the head of Xural TV. The businessman also sued Reaksiya TV and its head Zaur Gariboglu for publications made in the context of public discussions. The courts in those cases obliged the journalists to apologize, remove the controversial material, and pay compensation.
