Eight hosts of the YouTube channel Popular Politics became defendants in criminal cases of «fakes» about the army (Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and justification of terrorism (Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). One of them is Dmitry Nizovtsev. The Investigative Committee appointed linguistic expertise of the statements and posts of the hosts. They referred to the actions of the Russian army in Bucha and the burning of military recruitment centers.
