Armen Aramyan, editor and one of the founders of the student magazine DOXA, reported on emigration. According to Aramyan, he left Russia for Armenia using his internal passport and was able to leave some time later for a «safe place» thanks to the help of human rights activists. Alla Gutnikova, the magazine’s editor, also posted a photo from Germany. On April 12, 2022, Gutnikova, Aramyan, as well as Natalia Tyshkevich and Vladimir Metelkin were sentenced to two years of correctional labor. Aramyan also said he had continued to work anonymously for DOXA since February 24, 2022. «When I was faced with the choice to stop working for DOXA to avoid another criminal conviction, or to take my chances by continuing to work anonymously, I didn’t think for a second», — Aramyan said.
