Science journalist Asya Kazantseva’s lecture was canceled in St. Petersburg. The lecture, «The Social Brain: Finding the Boundary between Cooperation and Conformism», was scheduled for August 11 in the Lenpoligrafmash space. Kazantseva said she was «saddened, of course, by the level of background fear in contemporary Russian society». In April, the journalist was fined RUB 10,000 for participating in an anti-war rally on February 24.
