Gazeta.uz was attacked by trolls twice in a short period of time after the article «Proposal to Extend the Presidential Term to 7 years» was published on June 25. The media stated that «Paragraph 2 of Article 90 of the Constitution provides for an increase in the presidential term from 5 to 7 years». «Gazeta.uz again encounters an influx of trolls in the comment section to this news story. Comments are left from the same or similar IP addresses, some have the same content with different names of the authors. And there are a lot of them. The editorial board reserves the right not to publish comments that seem fake», – the editorial board explained.
