Danilovich disappeared for almost two weeks after her detention on April 29. Her lawyer said that she was held in the Federal Security Service department in Crimea until the preventive measure was imposed on May 7. Danilovich said that she was fed once a day and held in the basement of the FSS office in Simferopol for eight days – from April 29 until she was taken to court. The kidnappers put a bag on Danilovich's head and threatened to take her «to the woods» or take her to the besieged southern Ukrainian city of Mariupol if she concealed something.
