Roskomnadzor drew up a report against the editor-in-chief of Mediazona for failing to mark the posts as a foreign agent. Seven posts on the Telegram channel and four videos on the YouTube channel served as grounds. The case under Part 1 of Article 19.34.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation was sent to court. Smirnov faces a fine of RUB 10,000.
