Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined the journalist of Zelenaya Moskva Anna Nikolaeva RUB 150,000 for repeated violation of the «rally» law (Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). On February 17, the journalist was detained near the State Duma building, where the discussion of the draft of the federal law «On the fundamentals of the legal status of large families in the Russian Federation» was taking place. Nikolaeva was left for the night at the Tverskoy police station, even though she had a small child at home.
