The founder of the Narodnya Naviny Vitsebska website Siarhei Serebro was detained near the town railway station. The detention was conducted by two police officers: a police officer and a man dressed in plain clothes with the coat of arms of the Russian Federation. The journalist was taken to the Zheleznodorozhny District Police Department and held there for about two hours. He was questioned whether he would take part in an unauthorized action against Russian military aggression in Ukraine. Siarhei was released without a report, but his mobile phone was allegedly confiscated at the police station for inspection.
