Additional information:

At the demand of Roskomnadzor, Russian providers blocked the website Spectre Latvia and dozens of other media outlets for covering the war in Ukraine. In February 2021, the media was blocked in Russia for an article about the persecution of associates of Aleksey Navalny, which was seen as a call for protests. Spektr removed the article, and, as a result, the blockage was lifted. The editorial board of Spectre said that despite the blocking, «the media will continue to cover the Russian military invasion of Ukraine and will call things by their proper names».
