The police detained Toplum TV journalist Elmaddin Shamilzade without any given reason. While walking with a fellow journalist, he was ill-treated by the police, after which he was taken to one of the Yasamal district police department stations. He was at the police station for about two hours, then he was fined AZN 200 for failing to comply with the lawful police order and released.
