The producer of Next TV was interrogated in the criminal case opened by the State Committee of National Security against the channel and its director for incitement of ethnic hatred. The Committee claimed that the channel disseminated «false information via social networks about an alleged agreement on Kyrgyzstan's provision of military assistance to Russia during a special operation in Ukraine», but the journalists quoted a statement by the former head of the Kazakh special service, which the Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense later denied. The TV channel published the quotes on its Facebook account and Telegram channel. Previously, the director of Next TV was arrested and taken into custody for two months; the TV channel's office was sealed off, its broadcasting was shut down, and its equipment and documentation were confiscated.
