In Shakhty, Rostov Oblast, the journalist of IStories Irina Dolinina and the cameraman were detained. Journalists were filming a reportage about local residents and refugees from the so-called Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). Later, journalists were released, the police explained their detention by the «counter-terrorist operation». «They gave us an ultimatum: either you leave Shakhty, or we detain you for 24 hours, just in case we are terrorists or saboteurs», – said Irina Dolinina.
