The administration of the social network Vkontakte blocked the page of TV Rain at the demand of the Prosecutor General's Office for «purposeful and systematic posting of materials containing false information regarding the essence of the special military operation in Ukraine, its form, methods of combat operations, losses of the Russian Armed Forces and civilian casualties». In addition, according to the Prosecutor General's Office, TV Rain called for mass protests on VKontakte. The day before, the channel's website was blocked.
