On October 16, dozens of messages with threats and insults against journalists and their relatives appeared in just 30 minutes in the Telegram channel of Radio Ozodlik. The messages contained threats of beheading and sexual violence and were accompanied by pornography. Some comments stated that «the real purpose of Ozodlik is to organize a rebellion in Uzbekistan, disturb the peace and discredit our president».
