Temirov Live journalist Aktilek Kaparov reported on threats, blackmail, and a hidden camera found in the bedroom of journalist Bolot Temirov, arrested on January 22, 2022. He made his statement on behalf of the entire team on January 23 in an emergency air on the media's YouTube channel. «Our team believes that Bolot Temirov has been detained because the authorities do not want us to investigate and expose corrupt schemes by officials. To do that, they are using all dirty methods – wiretapping, surveillance, blackmailing editorial staff», – Kaparov said. He said a hidden video surveillance camera installed in the Bolot Temirov's bedroom was discovered in early December 2021. Kaparov also noted that their office had been monitored shortly before the journalist was detained.
