On January 5, at around 4 PM, during the filming of clashes between protesters and police in Atyrau, journalist of the Ak Zhaik newspaper Farhat Abilov was approached by aggressive bearded men. They forced the journalist to stop filming, insulting him with foul language, slapping his hands, pushing him, and threatening to throw his phone onto the pavement.
