After RISE Moldova published an investigation about the ties of Ilan Șor, a deputy in hiding in Israel and chairman of the Șor party, who is accused in Moldova of being involved in bank fraud and corruption, Șor accused the journalists of lying, falsifying facts, public lynching and said he would file a lawsuit against RISE Moldova and the media that disseminated this information. The case is in the court of the first instance.
