Police detained the reporter of Uralskaya Nedelya Serik Yesenov while he was filming army vehicles in the city center. They took him to the Abay District Police Department and tried to delete the filmed footage. Serik managed to inform Tamara Yeslyamova, editor-in-chief of Uralskaya Nedelya, who promptly contacted the press secretary of the Department of Internal Affairs of the city. As a result, the footage was saved and Yesenov was released.
