The journalist was detained by the police when he was covering a protest rally in Mogilev (protests in Belarus continued for almost two months since the presidential election on August 9). Asiptsou had his ID and was wearing the «Press» vest. He was taken to the district police department, where his personal belongings were checked, and copies of documents were made. A few hours later, the journalist was released without a report.
