The police detained the camera crew of the Belsat TV channel – Alena Dubovik and Maksim Horchenok – when they were covering a women's protest march. They were taken to the police department and charged with administrative offence (Article 22.9 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) – for cooperation with a foreign mass media without accreditation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Their smartphones and video camera with the footage were confiscated. Journalists were held at the police station for about three hours.
