The journalist was detained by the police when he was leaving his apartment with his wife. He was taken to the police department, where he was drawn up a report for violation of the law on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) and transferred to the temporary detention centre for almost three days until the trial. On September 14, the court found the journalist guilty and arrested him for five days.
