Andrey Kudryashov, the journalist of the Fergana.ru news agency, was banned from filming a Christmas tree at the Tashkent City international business centre. Five security guards obstructed the journalist's professional activities, allowing him to work only after the payment of USD 1.000 in local currency. The journalist faced a USD 4.000 fine if he filmed without permission. The administration of the business centre later informed Nova24.uz that there was no information about the possible fine the guards were threatening the journalist with.
