The police detained Vital Skryl when he and his partner were filming a video survey of the Vitsebsk residents. He was told that three administrative cases had been brought against him for participation in unauthorized street protests – the journalist was covering these actions. He was taken to the district police department for questioning and a «preventive talk». In the end, Skryl was offered to explain on video camera the reasons for his presence at the protest marches and was given the warning to sign that he was aware of the consequences of participation in unauthorized street rallies. After that, he was released.
